  2. Have you tried increasing your intake of magnesium to help with the constipation problem? My naturopathic physician recommended taking more magnesium as a natural laxative, as well as flaxseed added to my diet. I use a product called Mag Relax and it keeps me very regular. Drinking plenty of water is also crucial to having it work effectively. (I have PD and have had no bowel problems so far, fortunately) Best wishes, Linda

  3. Thanks for the suggestions Linda. I drink something like 8 to 10 cups of no caffeine herbal tea every day, so I get plenty of liquids, plus lots of antioxidants. It’s the Primidone that causes the worst of the constipation, but I haven’t found anything that controls my EM jerks as well.

    I’ll keep the magnesium suggestion in mind.
